The newly sworn-in Secretary of Jos South Local Government Council, Alexander Chuwang Dalyop has scored governor Simon Bako Lalong administration high for  restoring peace and development in the state.  He said "I was appointed to be the council secretary. My duties is to serve the chairman to see that his vision and that of Jos South is actualised". He scored gov. Simon Bako Lalong administration high in terms of maintaining peace and bringing development into the state. Tax Appeal Tribunal Overseas 10 Cases Worth N456. 6m -Chairman

The North Central Zone of the Tax Appeal Tribunal said it has made a remarkable progress in the adjudication of tax related disputes, even as it reveals that it has handled and dispensed 10 cases with a total tax value of about N456,659,529 Four Hundred And Fifty Six Million, Six Hundred And Fifty Nine Thousand Five Hundred And Twenty Nine Naira Presently. Chairman of the Tribunal, North Central Zone, Hon Richard Umar Bala, who disclosed this at the stakeholders’ sensitization forum held Crispan Hotel Area of Jos South Local Government of Plateau state, added that the tribunal are also adjucating on Eight pending cases of a total tax liability of about (N 952,520,546.41) Nine Hundred And Fifty Two Million, Five Hundred And Twenty Thousand, Five Hundred And Forty Six Naira Forty -One Kobo. The President and Treasurer of Ngwang Ishi O'Tarok, NIO, Ambassador Timothy Sheni and Chief Nimfa Zwalbong, respectively, have identified the unification of the Tarok people as the main thrust of the newly inaugurated EXCO of the association. Speaking in separate interviews after taking their oaths of office at the palace of the Ponzhi Tarok, shortly after emerging victorious at the NIO election held at GSS Pangna on Saturday, the duo had emphasized the need for the Tarok people to shun clannish and political differences and embrace one another as the brothers that they are, in order to move the Tarok nation forward. YILLAH BERATES GOVERNOR LALONG'S PENCHANT FOR ILLEGALITY

Jang Express Desire To Lead Protest Over Impeachment of Speaker Abok

By Golok Nanmwa , Jos Former Governor of Plateau state Jonah Jang ,on Wednesday said that he is willing to lead a protest of Plateau people against what he termed the illegal impeachment of the former Speaker of the state House of assembly Hon Abok Ayuba. Jang in a statement made available to newsmen in Jos reads that "Having fought for democracy, as member of NADECO and later the G38, i am willing to lead a protest of Plateau people against the illegality that has been perpetrated at the Plateau State House of Assembly. The statement reads that " the unfortunate happenings in the Plateau State House of Assembly in the last couple of days calls for, not only the intervention of all well-meaning Plateau elders and stakeholders but, people of goodwill who love the State and hold it dear to their hearts." He added that "We are indeed witnesses to the drama which has engulfed the State Assembly simply because a section of the Government wants the Speaker out at all co
