Usman aplaud Pres. Buhari, Gov. Lalong for engaging Youths And Vulnerable into 1000 Jobs in Curbing Unemployment.

Management Committee Chairman of Jos North Local Government Council Shehu Bala Usman has commended President Muhammadu Buhari and Governor Simon Bako Lalong of Plateau state for engaging Youths and other vulnerable people into the One Thousand Jobs to aimed at curbing unemployment in the locality.

The Chairman made the commendation while flagging off the take off of the One Thousand Jobs in Jos North Local Government Area says the beneficiaries were selected fairly in the area in accordance with the template given by the Federal Government.

It will be recalled that the Plateau State Government had on Friday January Eight  Twenty Twenty flagged off the Launched of the 1000 Jobs in Plateau state which is an initiative of the Federal Government to create job opportunities in the rural areas through all short term measure to mitigate unemployment in all the Local Government Areas.

The Chairman commended the Jos North Local  Government coordinator of the programme Yanat John for for her productiveness in enlightening and sensitizing the beneficiaries of the programme on the nitty-gritty of the job.

Usman while appealing to the beneficiaries to be proactive and  take advantage of the programme to become self reliance, used the occasion to  call on citizens of Jos North Local Government Area to participate fully in the forthcoming APC party registration and revalidation exercise.

Speaking earlier, the Local Government Coordinator Mrs Yanat John shower accolades on the Management Committee Chairman of Jos North Local Government Council Shehu Bala Usman for his leadership qualities and unflinching support towards  the smooth and effective take off of the programme in the area in line with the ideals of the present administration in the first instance.

Similarly, The State Coordinator of the National Directorate of Employment Mallam  Ibrahim Abdulazeez has expressed his happiness  with the level of preparation for the take off  of 1000 jobs in Jos North Local Government

Abdulazeez disclosed this while on the courtesy to the Management Committee Chairman of Jos North Local Government Shehu Bala Usman in his office at the Council Secretariat to assess the level of preparation towards the take off of programme. 

Responding, the Management Committee Chairman of Jos North Local Government Shehu Bala Usman described the visit as timely and expressed his desire to work closely with the National Directorate of Employment to give the people in the Locality a new lease of life.
