Reconciliation Within Plateau APC Poorly Handled–APC Stakeholders

...Lalong, Bature, Maje others must act now, stakeholders insist.

Some critical stakeholders on Monday evening lamented the internal crisis rocking the All Progressives Congress in Plateau, stressing that the reconciliation within the party has been poorly handled following the outcome of the party's primaries recently.

A stakeholder from Mangu local government council of Plateau state who does not want his name in print said that there are several stakeholders in the party in almost all the seventeen local government council of Plateau state who are still members of the party but are agrieved.

In his words, my party the APC would not make headway in the next election if this reconciliation process is not carried out immediately.

The People's Democratic party PDP is already cashing out on this, some of this aggrieved members are already in talks with the opposition party.

I want to use this medium to call on his excellency Governor Simon Lalong, the APC chairman of the party in Plateau Hon Rufus Bature, deputy speaker of the house of representatives to step in if not, the APC would not go anywhere.

We can not pretend that all is well, the Governor must stand up and do the needful if not, the PDP would coast to victory come 2023 in Plateau, he added.

"This is how the PDP lost out in 2015 the handled their reconciliation poorly and that is the advantages that brought us the APC on board, our Governor must act now or else the same faith might befall us in 2023," he added.

Already there are several groups at the moment fighting the APC, they include the Plateau Project phase 2 members amongst other members.
