Let's join hands to produce a female Council chairman for Plateau NUJ - Ex-Chairmen's Forum

The Forum of former Chairmen and Secretaries of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Plateau state council has called on journalists in the state to join hands and produce a female chairman Ayuku Pwaspo for the state council in the September 8 council election. The Forum comprising of Barr. Sunday Gye, Katdapba Gobum, Barr John Tsok, Chief Audu Ojogbane, Chris Gyang, George Damwan, Rhoda Lar, Illiya Putmang Amos etc made the call after a session with the Trust Campaign Council (TCC) in Jos on Thursday. The Forum was briefed by the Director General of the Trust Campaign Council Lucy Chindaba on the preparation towards the council election and on the neccessity of Ayuku Pwaspo candidacy in 2023. In thier separate remarks of endorsement at the meeting, Barr Sunday Gye, Katdapba Gobum and Barr John Tsok who were physically present at the meeting said they have confidence in the leadership of Ayuku Pwaspo. NAWOJ, Plateau chapter endorse Ayuku The executive and members of the Plateau Radio Television Corporation (PRTVC) made up of two chapels have given reasons why they endorsed Ayuku Pwaspo as their candidate for the position of Chairman in the council election slater for 8th September.  The Chapels confirmed their endorsement at the PRTVC Newsroom when they hosted the Ayuku Pwaspo Trust Campaign Council led by Lucy Chindaba Comrade Joseph Langkwap who spoke on behalf of both chapels said, "the emergence of Ayuku Pwaspo was a resolution of a combined congress of the chapels. In Plateau state, while commemorating the world youth day celebration, Governor Caleb Mutfwang has acknowledged the Contributions of the youth to the nation building. 2024 Budget Defence: MDA's Tasked to Presents a Realistic Budget Proporsal

Ministries, Department and Agencies under the Plateau State Government has been Tasked to presents a realistic and presentable budget proposals. Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Budget and Economic Planning, Peter Lamba Bot, threw the challenge while opening the 2024 Budget Defence by the MDA's. The Permanent Secretary, explained that the budget is properly planned to cover critical sectors of the economy, such as security, education, health, environment, empowerment and other critical infrastructure that will drive development in the state. He challenged MDA's to run the 2024 budget with decisiveness to enable the present administration startup well while reminding ministries, department and agencies on the need to block leakages and adopt measures to revenue generation.
