Group Caution Distractors to refrain from orchestrating evil Plans Against Deputy Speaker of PLHA


A Group of Youths from Jos East Local Government Area of Plateau State, Known as Patriotic Youths for Good Governance, is calling on all the citizens of Jos East Local Government Area to support all the political office holders in the Area, whether elected or appointed.

They made the statement in Jos during their congress meeting to review the political activities in Jos East Local Government Area. 
According to them, it is alarming the way some individuals are benning in  truncating and sabotaging the efforts of their leaders particularly the way and manner some of the people are doing everything possible to hinder the progress of work at the CAN Secretariat of Jos East Local Government Area, despite the contractor been paid double but allowed to be instigated by some wicked individuals to delayed and compromise the standard of work at the Secretariat and other contractors to   equally do same  at the ongoing projects across the Constituency.
It is clear that such disgruntled elements are the enemies of progress and enemies of Jos East Local Government Area.
It has also come to our notice that,the Commissioner of Youth and sports development is not left out from same  acts of betrayal and other appointees.
It is quite unfortunate that we as citizens of same local Government Area are which hunting each other especially our leaders with good heart and conscious.
We as vanguard of society and good governance,our patriotism and commitment to the development and growth of Jos East L.G.A is non negotiable.
We therefore pass a vote of  Confidence on the Right Honourable Deputy Speaker,for executing over one  hundred and fifty projects in less than two years in office and other good leaders from Jos East LGA that are working tirelessly for the progress of our dear local Government area.
Finally,we want to caution those black sheep to stop forthwith or else,we will not hesitate to mention their names and hiding agenda.
God bless our dear Local Government Area.

13 Dead as Mining Site Collapses in Plateau

No fewer than 13 people have been killed in a collapsed mining site in the Bassa Local Government Area (LGA) of Plateau State. Joshua Riti, chairman of the LGA, said the incident occurred on November 10. He added that seven of the deceased hail from Bassa LGA. The collapsed mining site is conterminous with Jos South and Jos North LGAs. Riti said; “This is an unfortunate incident. These young people were only out in search of a means of livelihood. “They went out to put their energies to good use to sustain and meet up with the current economic hardship in the country but met their untimely death. “I wish to extend my deepest condolences to the families and loved ones affected by this tragedy.” Majority of the victims were said to be aged 18-30.
