The Forum of former Chairmen and Secretaries of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Plateau state council has called on journalists in the state to join hands and produce a female chairman Ayuku Pwaspo for the state council in the September 8 council election. The Forum comprising of Barr. Sunday Gye, Katdapba Gobum, Barr John Tsok, Chief Audu Ojogbane, Chris Gyang, George Damwan, Rhoda Lar, Illiya Putmang Amos etc made the call after a session with the Trust Campaign Council (TCC) in Jos on Thursday. The Forum was briefed by the Director General of the Trust Campaign Council Lucy Chindaba on the preparation towards the council election and on the neccessity of Ayuku Pwaspo candidacy in 2023. The Plateau State Internal Revenue Service (PSIRS), has said it is targeting a total of N26 billion as its Internally Generated Revenue(IGR) for the 2023 fiscal year. Chairman PSIRS Mr. Dashe Arlat Dasogot said it has adopted several strategy as well as motivate their staffs work to ensure they achieved their target result.
