Gen.Yakubu Usman (Rtd) Decries Increase Rate Of Insecurity In Nigeria, Ask Terrorists To Sheaths their Sword.

Major General Yakubu Usman (rtd)has decried the increase level of insecurity in Nigeria which is beginning to threatening corporate coexistence and unity of Nigeria and called on the terrorist and other criminal elements responsible to sheath sword .
As he urged the terrorist and other criminal elements responsible for the wave of terrorism and other criminal act causing insecurities in any part of the country to stop forthwith and allow peace to reign to avoid the wrath of the government and that of the people.


The retired General of the Nigeria army give the warning in an interview with our correspondence in Jos, plateau state during book launch held at Crest Hotel Plateau state.
The retired General charged journalist in the country to sensitize the the criminal elements that are causing insecurity bridges in the country to allow Peace reign or be ready for the government wrath.


He further Condemned the level of terrorism in the North East , kidnapping and banditry in other parts of the country which has defied all security remedy in the ,with no solution in sight.
He described the Nigeria insecurities which started way back over ten years ago still continued, even getting worst with no solution in sight.
The General however send Strong warning to the terrorist an other criminal operating in the country to warn themselves and sheaths their sword before the government and people will be force to revote against the incessant blood letting occasioned by their wicked and devilish way.
General Yakubu stressed that if they are head bent in their evil way,the government who is saddle with the responsibility of saving life and property shall not be expected to fold her hand and doing nothing,than destroying the unrepentant terrorist and bandit causing mayhem in the country.
The chairman of Green Castle suits Who doubled as the chairman of the book launched, said when the government decides to result to the theory of “tooth for tact, it may be too late for the terrorist group to repeat.
Usman who served the Nigeria Military for 35 years said he hails from Bauchi state,but choose to partner with the good people of plateau state because of the farmilarity.
On the roles of the women on the Plateau,as portrayed in the book author by Mathias Yakubu, plateau Women: “First Among Equals” he described plateau woman as industrous person and called for their emulation.
On the tourism potentials of the state as home of peace and tourism, he said the the state is now peaceful after the senseless crisis and other bridge of peace in the state in the time past.
He further revealed that aside the Green Castle Hotel located in the state capital,he has another one in Bauchi which he said is relatively smaller than the one in Jos.
He however stressed that when he finally retired from active business ,he will choose plateau state place he will finally settled to enjoy the rest of his retirement period.
