Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Fintiri Named A 5.6km Road After Jonah Jang.





The immediate past Governor of Plateau State, Senator Dr. Jonah David Jang got honoured in Adamawa State as the Governor, Ahmadu Fintiri names a 5.6km road after him.

Reports reaching The Age have it that the inhabitants of the community in Yola North of the State, Bachure and Falu, wanted the road named after the State Governor, Fintiri, but he declined to honour Jang who was a governor of the state under defunct Gongola.

Fintiri also named Weekly Scope Newspaper Road after a former Inspector General of Police, Alhaji Gambo Jimeta, who hails from Jimeta Area of Yola in Adamawa State.

Sokoto state Governor, Aminu Tambuwal, showered accolades on Fintiri over the roads saying, "I am not a praise singer but I feel a man who has been a Speaker of the state House of Assembly; Acting Governor of the state on two occasions; he sure knows what his people want and has come to make a serious impact in governance for the benefit of the people of Adamawa." Tambuwal added.
