Breaking: Resident Doctors, FG Agree To Resolve Differences Within 48 Hours




The National Association of Resident Doctors and the Nigerian government have agreed to return to the negotiating table to address the contending issues responsible for the almost two months old strike.

Galaxy's Godfrey Eshiemoghie reports that this resolution by both parties followed consultations at the National Industrial Court in Nigeria Wednesday at the resumption of hearing of the legal dispute between both parties.

Counsel to the Resident Doctors, Femi Falana, assures that his clients are ready to return to the negotiation table to address the grey areas.

The judge presiding over the matter, Justice Bashar Alkali had adjourned the hearing, reserving ruling on pending applications before him, till Friday 17 September 2021.
