Riyom Council Boss, Mafeng Gwallson Sworn in Secretary, Sup. Councillors & Chief of Staff With a Charge On Them To Deliver Optimally





Riyom Local Government Council Boss, Hon. Mafeng Gwallson, was on Wednesday December 8 2021, Sworn-in the Council's Secretary, Supervisory Councillors, Chief of Staff and Director General of Research with a charge on them to Perform Optimally.



The Executive Chairman of Riyom Local Government Area of Plateau State, Hon. Mafeng Gwallson charged the appointees to hit ground running to add value and perform optimally for the progress of the Council, and the entire state as a whole.



Hon. Gwallson stressed that it will be business unusual urging the new Appointees to bring their wealth of experience to bear, to justify the trust and confidence reposed on them with the appointments.



He said: “See your appointments as the will of God, as you were carefully selected among many people from your various Wards, the people of Riyom LGA expect a lot from you and you have to deliver.

“Let us join hands to take Riyom LGA to an enviable heights and make it the pride of all in the state and the country in general”. he added.



He urged them to accord maximum support to the Council and mobilize the citizens for the ruling party.


In his speech, the Executive Chairman, before listing out his appointees, thanked the people of Riyom Local Government Area for their immense support towards his administration, saying that the people guided his narrative in the selection of appointees and therefore, seeking their support to unite and to progress together. The Chairman added that he was well aware of the challenges faced by his people, especially  problems of insecurity, farm rustling, vehicular seizure, robbery amidst many other vices he couldn’t pointed out but in respecto this bedeviling situation, Hon. Mafeng Gwallson has presented a support system that the people of Riyom will need in other to aid the progress of his administration.



The Chairman wowed his administration commitment to return the IDP’S back to their ancestral home without fear of insecurity.

The swearing in which was held at the Council Secretariat was well attended by Traditional Rulers, Security Personnel, Plateau state Commissioner for Information, Dan Manjang, Political Leaders, Religious Leaders, well wishers, APC Stakeholders, Youths, Women, as well as Community Associations amongst others.
