As 2023 governorship election drums closer, political analysts from Minna the Niger State capital reacted to this paper that the battle is getting hot as politicians allegedly disagreeing with the zoning system arrangement from the two major political party thethe Apc and PDP,

He said the Zone B of the Niger East are seriously gunning for the number one seat of the state come 2023 , and the zone C that's the Niger north said that they don't believe on zoning system
Another source who beg anonymity said that power should rotate back to where it started in 1979 , if at all zoning will be sacrosanct, if not many may dump party and the ruling party Apc will face real battles in 2023 Adding that the Niger East that started the zoning system in 1979 should stand a Better chance to come in this time since the zoning has gone round the 3 senatorial district's of the state
