Beni Lar Flags Off 2022 Empowerment Scheme, Disburses Cash Grants & Motorcycles to 400 Constituents







Member representing Langtang North and Langtang South Federal Constituency, Honourable Beni Lar has disbursed cash grants and motorcycles to over 400 of her constituents to empower them to be self reliant.

This is the 1st phase of Honourable Beni Lar's flagging off of empowerment scheme for the year 2022 with over 400 beneficiaries selected across the 33 Federal Wards in Langtang North and South Local Government Areas of the state.
While flagging off the disbursement of cash grant and distribution of motorcycles in Langtang North Local Government Area, Plateau State, Honourable Lar appealed to the beneficiaries to use the motorcycles to improve their economic based and for the beneficiaries of cash grant to start small businesses.
The Lawmaker explained that the empowerment programme is segmented into four phase in order to reach out to a good number of her constituents and assured that she is desirous of lifting a good number of her constituents out of poverty.
Lar disclosed that the empowerment scheme is an annual event which is usually done in four phases and very soon farmers will take their turn who will receive cash, fertilizer and other farming implements ahead of this year's season.
Ahead of 2023 general elections, Honourable Lar cautioned her constituents to shun political thuggry and explaining that it is better to empower the youths and women to be self reliant than using them as political thugs to trouble during elections and dumped them after the elections. 
Lar further appealed to her supporters and the People's Democratic Party members to be peaceful during and after the 2023 general elections and called for the arrest and prosecution of any found causing troublr during the elections.
