Nigerian Hunters Council Parades and Handover 3 Drugs Baron to NDLEA In Jos


Hunters under the auspices of Nigerian Hunters Council, Plateau State Command has paraded a syndicate of drugs peddlers who specialised in selling hard drugs such as Cocaine aka “Crack” in an open market to flashpoints areas in Plateau state.

The hunters council said it has upgraded from the popular hunting of bush rodents to fighting of crimes and criminality in the state and its environ.

While parading the suspects at the Federal Secretariat in Jos, the command promises to flush out drug syndicates and other criminal elements operating within the entire state.

The three notorious drugs baron were apprehended around Kabong community of Jos North local Government Area of plateau state.

Narrating how the drugs syndicates where arrested, Mr Pam who is the head of intelligent unit, said the drugs dealers were apprehended in kabong at about 6am at the park while on information gathering on the activities of drug sellers that are on rampage, and the Nigerian hunters council decided to beam her searchlight by sending one of her agent to act as cover and pretend to be a buyer.


He further explained that on arrival to the venue where those drugs Baron distributed their items, he then ask one of them Mr Chinedu Emmanuel the selling agent of the peddlers who directed him to where to obtain the substance that attracted the enforcement team to effect their arrest .

This medium gathered that Mr Chinedu Emmanuel a 27 years old man, hailed from Abia state, Eastern Nigeria with two children between the ages of 7 & 4 respectively came to Plateau state in search of greener pasture 10 years ago.

According to him, he work with Kabong motor park in the state loading vehicles traveling outside the state to Lagos and other western states .

John Pam vowed that they promised to get rid of criminal elements causing the community of Jenta Adamu, Jenta Mangoro, Kabong and its environs sleepless night .

He stressed that men of the underworld are using dangerous substance that give them courage in attacking innocent people by snatching and dispossessing them of their valuables.

Pam however said ,that Nigerian hunters council is well repositioned to clampdown on miscreants who are perpetuating crimes in the neighborhood after taken the illict substance .

He said “We have deploy our staff across all nooks and crannies of the state capital to ensure drugs free society by warning guardian against allowing their children to engage in drugs selling and consumption”.

The head of intelligence reiterated that, those paraded include, Enoch Johnson, Monday Osumbo and Chinedu Emmanuel as culprits at their hideout .

He employed all citizens to provide useful information to Nigerian Hunters council to help curtail and reduce crime in the society through a join collaboration with other stakeholders and other sister security agencies.

The drug syndicates arrested at Kabong motor park is one ,Enoch Johnson who strongly denied that he is not part of the drugs Baron distributing it but he was at the park when he was invaded .

The suspects has been handed over to the officials of the National Drugs Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, pending investigation over the matter.
