Why Plateau Should Attend The Dubai EXPO

Plateau should attend the expo due to the following reasons:
1) Dire need of investment in the state;
In today's world, the infrastructures that boost the economy and revenue derive of communities are in the hands of the private sector. The deficit of infrastructures in Plateau, poor internally generated revenue hampering rapid development and advancement and high rate of unemployment, are attributable to poor foreign and local investments in the state.
Aside NASCO, Coca Cola and Grand Cereal, there are no major investments in the state. Revenues generated from big investments include: company tax, pay as you earn of staff, ground rent and VAT, imagine there are 20 major companies with the capacity of employing 5,000 workers in the state, the employment rate and revenue generation will be very high.
In a nutshell, we need investors in the state, and by attending the expo, we will expose our agricultural and natural resources endowment which can heavily attract investors.
2) Our agricultural produce are one of the finest in the country, if not the finest. Their quality is very high, which when discovered, can have very high patronage. Remember, Mira Mehta, a graduate of Harvard University, discovered our tomato and established a tomato paste company in Kaduna called, Tomato Jos in 2014. We need to expose our produce by attending the expo, we could have investors opening up companies for processing rice, expansion of Acha company, making tomato paste and so on.

3) There are small and medium industries trading on stones, tin and tantalite in the state, when heavily exposed very huge investors could come.
4) If our natural resources and agriculturally endowments are explored, our tourism potentials could be explored too. Or we could expose it too at the expo.
Under the Jang administration, some investors wanted to start a film city around Dong and Rafiki axis, but were not given the note.
With the exploration of our agriculture and minerals leading to huge investments and infrastructural boosts, investors on tourism like film cities, mountain hikes and so on could come.
5) If we attend, we could expose our rocks where rockcutters could come and invest and export particularly to countries in the Middle East which are more of a desert.
