Breaking: APC Listed Committee Members For Delegate Elections in Plateau Debunk Fake List On Circulation

Against the list making the rounds of Committees set up by All Progressives Congress, APC, for the conduct of its delegate elections on 16th - 17th May, 2022, for the 36 states in which THE BEACON Newspaper obtains a copy, and extracted Plateau State's list, has been described as fake aimed at tarnishing the image of those featured on it.

Speaking to THE BEACON Newspaper, one on behalf of them, debunked the list saying he is not aware of such list as himself and very few of them on the list have been called upon to serve in the State Assembly Screening Committee for the 2023 general elections, and not for any delegate electionns. And that they will be sworn in tomorrow and posted to various states of the Federation.

Proving his point, he sent a copy of the invitation letter sent to him which reads, "Greetings from the National Headquarters of our great party (APC). I have been directed by the National Organising Secretary to notify you of your nomination to serve in the State Assembly Screening Committee for the 2023 general elections. The screening exercise will take place across the 36 States of the Federation.
Note: All committee members are expected to be at Frazer Suites, Abuja by 2 pm 14/05/2022 for inauguration and briefing.
Congratulations."

According to him, those who concocted the list and circulated it were simply out for mischief and that the general public should totally disregard it.
