WE MUST PRAY FOR PEACEFUL AND A SUCCESSFUL ELECTION, TURNAROUND OF NIGERIA, SECURITY OF OBIDIENTS & INEC FOR A FREE, FAIR & CREDIBLE ELECTION –OBI

His Excellency,Mr Peter Obi, the Labour Party Presidential Candidate in the 2023 General Elections has urged Nigerians to pray fervently for a peaceful and successful 2023 general elections, the total turnaround of the fortunes of Nigeria and Nigerians, the security of all Obidients and supporters of the Labour Party in Nigeria and the diaspora as well as the Independent National Electoral Commission to conduct a free, fair and credible general elections in 2023.
Obi made these pertinent calls in Jos when he led his Vice Presidential Candidate,Dr Yusuf Ahmed Datti, the Plateau State Labour Party Governorship Candidate and his Deputy,Dr Patrick Sunday Dakum and Sir Edward Pwajok SAN,KSGG,LB, the Kaduna State Labour Party Governorship Candidate,Hon Jonathan Asake, the popular SOKAPU National President, Senator Victor Lar, the first Board of Trustees Chairman of the Labour Party,a powerful delegation of the National Executive members and supporters of the Labour Party in Nigeria to Jos to unveil the Plateau State Governorship Candidate and his Deputy as well as honour an invitation to launch the Middle Belt Obi/Datti) Dakum/Pwajok Support Group.

In his speech, the most loved and popular 2023 Presidential Candidate in Nigeria today with four public polls conducted by various reputable non governmental organizations to his favour in Jos,before a mammoth crowd at the Rwang Pam Township Stadium, which once hosted the conventions and saw the emergence of the late MKO Abiola,Olusegun Obasanjo,Shehu Musa Yaradua,et al and now hosting Obi is prophetic that Obi will win the 2023 general elections with the declaration of campaign on the 28th of September,2022 and his starting of political campaigns in Jos, the Home of Peace and Tourism and now political sagacity.His speech"My fellow Nigerians and OBIdients, I join you today as we mark the formal start of the 2023 campaign season. We must all reflect on the journey we are embarking upon. We seek a new nation, but to arrive there, we need prayers and courage.

As we head into her next presidential elections in 2023; we aim to canvass for electoral legitimacy, as means to governance legitimacy. So we must do three things urgently

We must pray for peaceful and successful elections; for the turnaround of our country and for the security of the members of the OBIdient Family and every participant including the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC throughout the duration of the exercise

We must summon up courage. The courage to stand up for what is right; to make the much needed sacrifices and ultimately, to rescue our country from those who have perfected State Capture

We must recommit ourselves to an issues-based campaign. Let us pray for a peaceful and issue-based campaign that will eventually lead to God's desire for a president that will be best suitable for our great country moving forward.

The Obi-Datti administration represents, the HOPE, AND PROMISE for a united, secure and productive Nigeria and a transformative leadership that is imbued with competence, capacity, credibility and commitment. These 4Cs,are leadership competencies required to turn Nigeria around.

As a President elected by all Nigerians,
Plateau state will not only host several potato chips processing companies, which will create jobs for the teeming unemployed youths, but other parts of the North will be dotted with several agro-processing industries

I promise Nigeria’s equal opportunities in all sectors, improved power generation, practical war against insecurity and other forms of criminality, access to education and an end to endless unfulfilled promises

Our administration will ensure that Nigerians are fully protected in their homesteads: and that their lives, properties and means of livelihood will always be secured. That, after all, is the Primary Responsibility of government

We have no other country but Nigeria and we must learn to respect each other, tolerate and do things accordingly in order to create an atmosphere that will usher in unity, progress and the greatness we were destined for from inception.

God Almighty has blessed Nigeria. It is our job to make this country flourish once again, to regain her pride and to be a nation, where no one is oppressed. Thank you all. God bless you and God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria."

In welcome remarks,Dr Pogu Bitrus, the President of the Middle Belt Forum and Convener of the Middle Belt for Obi/Datti 2023 Support Group said it is time for Nigerians to take their destinies in their hands by voting massively for the Labour Party in the 2023 general elections for their freedom and betterment.

Dr Patrick Sunday Dakum, the Chief Host , the Plateau State Labour Party Governorship Candidate, the Chief Executive Officer of the Institute of Human Virology Abuja-Nigeria and the Leader of the Consolidation Team welcomed and appreciated His Excellency Peter Obi,Dr Yusuf Ahmed Datti, the Board of Trustees Chairman of the Labour Party, Governorship Candidates of Kaduna and Gombe States,National Officers of the Labour Party,all Labour Party Candidates of the National and State Assemblies, Stakeholders and members of the Consolidation Team, State and LGA Executive Officers of the Labour Party, the over 200 Obi/Datti/ Dakum/Pwajok, security officers and all those who made the event the huge success that it was.

His Excellency Peter Obi,Dr Yusuf Ahmed Datti and the National Officers of the Labour Party raised the hands of Dr Patrick Sunday Dakum and Sir Edward Pwajok SAN as the Plateau State Labour Party Governorship and Deputy Governorship Candidates with the crowd cheering in affirmation, endorsement and encouragement.

 Prophet Isa El Buba urged Nigerians to vote out bad leaders in the 2023 general elections by collecting and using their Permanent Voters Cards (PVCs).

Rev Ezekiel Dachomo had the Christian opening prayer while a Shiekh had the Muslim prayer.

Members of the Elders Group, Youths Groups, Women Groups, Support Groups of the Consolidation For Greater Plateau 2023 Team were present to add colour to the event at Airport,Gbong Gwom's Palace, the Stadium and Eliel Event Centre, venue of the Dinner organised in honour of Obi/Datti and all attendees.
