Plateau 2023: Plateau PDP is organized Party That'll Project Good Governance– Amb Gotom

Central Zone Senatorial candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP, Ambassador Yohanna Gotom popularly called the digital senator, has called on the electorates to vote out any politician that does not understand the principle of good governance through principle of commerce and industrialization.

Amb Gotom called on the good people of central zone to vote for digital senator where Health care services, Industrialization, Transfer education, Effective legislation, Computerisation of our business community, Commercialization of our business environment and Human capital development HITEECH legislation shall be exhibited, promising to deliver if given the mandate.

He made the declaration in a media interview with newsmen at Langfield Leisure Park little Rayfield Jos, venue of PDP's inauguration of Atiku/Mutfwang advisory campaign councils for general elections in plateau state.

He said when you check the capacity of what transpired today, is indeed that the people plateau truly need PDP and organized party that will project good governance to the good people of plateau.

“As you can see the composition headed by the ultimate masquerade, Chief Letep Dabang, indeed, the capacity of what transpired today is a litmus test that we're leading plateau to victory and only the Peoples Democratic Party can give that victory and i urge the good people of plateau to stay calm, fight and win the battle in 2023”. He said.

The senatorial hopeful is optimistic that PDP is going to dislodge the ruling APC on the plateau citing the increase rise of commodities in the market brought upon Nigerians by the APC government.

He said “APC don't project good governance rather, the job of the Plateau Property Investment Company PIPC, is been shutdown for far too long. You don't expect Nigerians vote the APC because a bag of rice goes for Thirty five thousand, common fertilizer goes for Twenty Seven thousand. You can see hunger and starvation all over the state. So if people of plateau wants to vote for starvation between good governance is ought for them but I'm sure plateau people are too intelligent to vote for an outdated party".

He said APC do not have any yardstick that we should project them for good governance because if you look at from Bokkos down to Kanam we do not have a single industry, and why will you have a society without industry?” He queried.

“My call for the youth on the plateau most especially, people would say leadership is for the youth of greater tomorrow but you can see on the plateau when i contested, their views were, you're too young to go to the senate. The job of a senator is quite simple and they're just six in numbers. Number one job of a senator is that of making laws, number two, is to correct the existing law, number three is to approve judicial officers, number four is the approval of ministers, board members and other offices, number five is control of public funds that's my field as an accountant and the last one is to impeach a sitting president or the vice president where he does not do the will of the masses. I urge the youth of plateau to vote for credible candidates and there's no any alternative apart from Amb. G Y Gotom for the great people of plateau central. He added.
