Ahead of 2023: Dr. Dakum Calls for Magnanimity in Victory Celebration
PRESS RELEASE
DR. DAKUM CALLS FOR MAGNANIMITY IN VICTORY CELEBRATION
Plateau State Labour Party Governorship candidate, Dr. Patrick Dakum, who emerged victorious at the Federal High Court sitting in Jos, the Plateau State capital today against the suit filed by the erstwhile Governorship candidate, Mr. Yohana Margif seeking to disqualify his candidacy, and that of his running mate, Hon. Edward Pwajok (SAN), has called on all supporters to be magnanimous in celebration.
According to him, the victory is not a trigger for criticism, rancour and vulgar, but an inspiration for hard-work, determination and tenacity towards victory at the 2023 governorship polls, hence, should be observed with decorum.
Having given glory to God Almighty for the win, Dakum extends his gratitude to all members of his campaign team, Consolidation for Greater Plateau 2023, friends and well wishers, and all those that have been praying along for his success.
He further appeals to all supporters of Margif in the Labour Party, and compatriots who dream of a better Plateau and its restoration to its former glory and beyond, to tag along by joining him in the quest for the emancipation of the State from the current economic, infrastructural, and security quagmire.
Finally he admonished his supporters saying his victory in court is the shadow of what awaits the Labour Party at the 2023 Governorship polls if members remained undaunted, resilient and determined to win. And that all hands must be on deck to work for the victory of all candidates of the Labour Party from top to bottom starting with the Presidential candidate, Mr. Peter Obi and his running mate, Dr. Ahmed Datti down to House of Assembly candidates.
