Breaking: Jos Federal High Court, Dismisses Suit Seeking to Disqualify all PDP Candidates from Participating the 2023 Polls in Plateau



The Federal High Court sitting in Jos has dismissed the suit filled by one Augustine Timkuk Dandam challenging the nomination and declaration of Hon. Nannim Joseph Langyi as candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for Langtang North/North State Constituency in the forth coming 2023 General Elections.

In his reliefs sought, the claimant among other things is asking for the disqualification of all the PDP candidates from Gubernatorial, Senatorial, House of Representatives, down to State Assemblies.

The Claimant’s suit was dismissed at the preliminary stage without the Originating Summons heard. The court in dismissing the suit, held among others that it lacked jurisdiction to entertain the suit.
