NCPC Scandal: Drop your Pen, We Must Raise the Voices for Peace– Ex YOWICAN President
The National Youth Leader of Congress of Northern Nigeria Christians CNNC and former National President, Youth Wing of Christian Association of Nigeria (YOWICAN) Engr. Daniel Kadzai has called on the warring faction and loyalists of Pam and Mamza to sheathe sword in the interest of peace.
Kadzai said “I wish to issued an appeal for an immediate ceasefire in all corners to both loyalist of Most Rev'd Dr. Stephen Dami Mamza, Catholic Bishop of Yola and Chairman Adamawa State and Rev'd Dr. Yakubu Pam, the Executive Secretary, Nigeria Christian Pilgrims Commission (NCPC). The trend of counter accusations from the loyalists has generated a lot of concerns to Nigerians”.
“We cannot fold our arm and allow the ego of these brilliant loyalists downplay on the integrity of these two influential Nigeria Christian Leaders.
I'm very close to Bishop. Dami, the CAN Chairman Adamawa State for over three decades and also Rev'd Dr. Pam, who we worked with when he was the CAN Chairman North-Central zone, then I was Youth CAN Chairman for the same zone. I know their capacity and capabilities when it comes to the kingdom business.
I respectfully appeal to my friends the loyalists of both Clerics to drop their pens and allow these eminent Clergymen concentrate and reinforce on their divine calling as preachers.
I feel we should all collaborate to help create favourable atmosphere for the delivery of their divine mandate to bring hope to Nigerians that are among the most vulnerable.
We know the Insecurity in Nigeria is having profound social, economic and political consequences, including relating to internal peace and security. Hence we should team up to develop action plan to overcome our challenges not to busy ourselves fighting each other.
John 17; 21- 23 KJV "that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me. 22 And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one: 23 I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me.
“We can resolve our differences in house and allow our leaders forge ahead with their work for the kingdom. Please kindly embrace dialogue” he pleaded.
