RE: TINUBU CAMPAIGN OFFICE IN JOS REMAINED CLOSED.

The irritant and hawkish hired Public Relations Officer of an opposition party in Plateau State, Ukandy Odey who has beeb jumping from one newspaper to the other and who now reports for The Will Newspaper has continued with his mischief and vituperation under the above headline.

There is nothing he sees positive about the APC government in the state and he has ceaselessly attacked the personality of the Plateau State Governor, Rt. Hon Simon Bako Lalong with impunity.

He has now taken his mischief to a ridiculous and unacceptable level when he said that the recently inaugurated Tinubu Campaign Office in the choice part of Jos, along D.B.Zang ( former Ibrahim Taiwo Road) has remained moribund and under lock since the Presidential Campaign flag off two weeks ago. This is nothing is but fabrication of tissues of lies and his deceptive antics.

The office which is strategically located in the highbrow of Jos has been very busy with activities going on with all serenity.

The office is not a campaign arena like the stadium or public square where the cantankerous reporter would see a crowd but is an avenue where ideas on party issues are articulated and executed.

He also claimed that N2billion was invested on the flag off of the presidential campaign in Jos and that many issues have remained unresolved as money for contract for supplies and provisions were cornered by those close to the governor!

Nothing can be further from the truth as the likes of Ukandy Odey have had sleepless nights beceause of the imposing and intimidating nature of the campaign outfit which has dwarfed all others especially that of the PDP along state secretariat Road whose presence is the flags that adorn it.

He has been desperately trying to project the party to no avail as it has been totally overwhelmed by its internal contradictions.

He also claimed that the crowd at the flag off of the APC Presidential Campaign were hired from other states like Borno, Kano, Kaduna, Bauchi and Gombe States.

This is his continuation of the insults on the APC family in Plateau state.

The flag off at the Rwang Pam Township Stadium which witnessed unprecedented crowd has remained the talk of the town and beyond and it is, indeed, a model being replicated in other states.

It has been adjudged by all, including the media, which Odey is supposed to be a part, as one of the best and most successful gathering of party faithful in recent times.

It was graced by President Muhammadu Buhari, the APC National Chairman, the NWC of the party, the Presidential and Vice Presidential Candidates and the entire APC PCC, Senate President, Speaker of the House of Representatives and Members of the National Assembly, All APC Governors Ministers etc.

It was, in fact, a gathering of who is who in this country and was, a clear signal of the victory of His Excellency, Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Senator Kashim Shettima.

Only chicky elements like Ukandy have tried to throw spanners in the wheel of the unstoppable march of the APC to victory in the 2023 General elections.

I listened with disgust his empty verbosity on Jay FM, the station which has allowed itself to be used by Odey on a daily basis to pour insults on the APC and Govenor Lalong which I hope the National Broadcasting Commission is taking note of before we write an official complaint about the station's total disregard for the NBC broadcast code.

Himself, the handlers of the programme between 10: 00 am and 12 noon on 1st December deployed everything but professional broadcasting in that particular edition which Odey described the flag off as old fashioned and insulted my humble self which is a matter for another day.

 Chased by his shadows, he alleged during that particular programme that his life is being threatened and he has reported  the matter to the police.

 Let me state this for the umpteenth time that only those who go against the law are afraid of the law as Ukandy Odey knows that he cannot do what he is doing in other climes. 

 The Plateau person has been the most tolerant  which I have advised him in a private chat when he posted one of his insultive pieces on Govenor Lalong not to take this tolerance for granted. 

 What he is doing is anything but journalism which is a profession that promotes peace and harmonious living. 

 How can he be the only one who sees nothing good about the government and Governor of Plateau State?

 We had cause the other day to advise  the NUJ in Plateau state to rid itself of quacks and hatched agents of desperate politicians. 

 Let Odey know that there is a limit to everything including his irresponsible journalism and rascality.
