Hon. Listick Interface with CAN Leaders of his Constituency for Effective Represention and Service Delivery


 

Member Representing Langtang North Central Constituency in the Plateau State House of Assembly, Hon Daniel Nanbol Listick has interface with the Christian Association of Nigeria, (CAN), from all the wards of his Constituency.

In a statement by the Legislative Aide, to the member, Miri Karbin Nyantau, made available to the Age, reveals that the Objectives of the engagement meeting is  to pray for the peace and development of Langtang North Central State Constituency, Tarok Nation and Plateau State at large.

The statement added that the purpose of the interface is to provide quality representation and service to the people of his constituency.

He added that the sole aim of the egagement is to make his constituents aware of the legislative agenda of Langtang North Central state Constituency, and proceedings of the legislature and to seek support on promoting effective civic duty education through sermons.

On his part, the member Representing Langtang North Central Hon. Daniel Nanbol Listic  appreciated the leadership and members of Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) from Bwarat Zone, Gani Zone and Gazum Zone all in Langtang North Central for their prayers, support and cooperation geared towards good governance. 

The Honourable Member seeks for the support of CAN to promote civic duties in the area of birth registration, school enrolment, voters registration, national identification number (NIN) registration, tax, internally generated revenue etc. in their various congregations and it read as follows:

SUMMARY OF REPORT OF LANGTANG NORTH CENTRAL STATE CONSTITUENCY LEGISLATIVE ENGAGEMENT MEETING WITH CHRISTIAN ASSOCIATION OF NIGERIA (CAN) HELD IN BWARAT ZONE, GANI ZONE AND GAZUM ZONE ON FRIDAY 21ST JUNE, 2024*

Objectives of engagement meeting
1.    To pray for the peace and development of Langtang North Central State Constituency, Tarok Nation and Plateau State at large.

2.    To provide quality representative service to constituents.

3.    To make constituents aware of the legislative agenda of Langtang North Central State Constituency and proceedings of the legislature.

4.    To seek support on promoting effective civic duty education through sermons.

STATEMENT FROM DANIEL, NANBOL LISTICK, HONOURABLE MEMBER REPRESENTING LANGTANG NORTH CENTRAL STATE CONSTITUENCY
He appreciated the leadership and members of Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) from Bwarat Zone, Gani Zone and Gazum Zone all in Langtang North Central for their prayers, support and cooperation geared towards good governance. RESPONSES, SUGGESTIONS AND REQUESTS FROM CHRISTIAN ASSOCIATION OF NIGERIA IN BWARAT ZONE, GANI ZONE AND GAZUM ZONE

– CAN expressed their support to pray for the government of Plateau State and to also correct the State Representative when the need arises.

– CAN appreciated the leadership of His Excellency, Barr. Caleb M. Mutfwang the Executive Governor of Plateau State.

– CAN accepted to promote civic duties through sermons in their various congregations.

– CAN called on the State Representative to keep supporting the government of Barr. Caleb Mutfwang.

– CAN also called on the State Representative of Langtang North Central State Constituency to support unemployed youths across the Constituency with funds to enable them start Small  and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) that will further play a critical role in the economic development of Plateau State and Nigeria at large.

– CAN condemned in totality the deliberate act of some politicians who failed to differentiate between the time
