PLHA Helds 4-Day Induction Workshop For new Members



The Speaker of the Plateau State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon Dewan K. Gabriel led the newly sworn-in members of the 10th assembly for an induction workshop alongside Management Staff of the State Assembly in Abuja, Nigeria.

The induction workshop was organised to further strengthen the new lawmakers as they take up legislative duties of the 10th Assembly.

The workshop was focused on the theme: "Implications of Financial Crimes and Effective Budget Preparation, Financial Reporting, inline with International Accounting Standard (IPSAS) and it's Relationship with Legislation".

Rt. Hon. Dewan acknowledged the importance and implications of the induction on the new members which served as an avenue to accord them the opportunity for both the old and new lawmakers to share ideas and be more equipped for the legislative business ahead.
