Prof. Dakum Lauds Running Mate, Plateau LP EXCO, Stakeholders and Aspirants

Professor Patrick Sunday Dakum, the Chief Executive Officer, Institute of Human Virology Nigeria, IHVN, and Plateau State Labour Party governorship candidate in the 2023 general elections, has lauded his running mate, Hon. Edward Pwajok SAN, KSM, LP chairperson, Hon. Grace Zamfara, members of the state EXCO, stakeholders and all aspirants who purchased the party's forms to feature in the forth coming local government elections for their tenacity, commitment and sacrifice for the party to excel; and called on all party faithful to buckle up their belts to secure all elective positions at the October 9, 2024 LG elections.

Dakum exhorts them saying Plateau State is in dire need of fresh air and new lease of life for peace, unity and prosperity to excel. And that there is no sacrifice too small to be made for the securement of posterity's and current generation's socio-economic wellbeing which is attainable by having the right people as LG chairmen and councilors in the forth coming LG elections.
He called on all LP members to join hands in absolute unison, putting the wellbeing of the state first which is paramount particularly now that the LG's are given their autonomy, and to work assiduously to ensure that the party forms government at the third tier.

Dakum reminded them that we have no other state but Plateau, and that nobody will fix it rightly for us, but ourselves, hence if the right people who will change the narrative of bad governance are voted in October, the entire state will develop within the shortest time: adding that the LP has the best manifesto, passion, vision and desire for a new Plateau which must not be taken for granted.

The former Commissioner of Health and Information, appeals to all LP members to be dogged and relentless within the ambit of electoral laws in canvassing support for the party, exercise restraint in the face of offence by opponents but be vigilant not to be taken off-guard, and to exercise victory optimism at the polls.
He posited by praying for God's divine guidance and blessings upon all LP members.
