Tonga Declares Intention to Contest for Langtang North LGC Chairmanship Race Under PDP



Hon Habila Tonga, the Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP) an aspirant in  the October 2024 Local Government Election in Plateau state, has Formally declares his intention to contest for the Chairmanship position of Langtang North LGA.

Hon. Habila Tonga pledged that if given the opportunity to run the business of the local government in the role of its chairman, he will bring massive infrastructural development and transformation of the local government and urged delegates to vote for him and watch saying that his records speaks for itself.

Tonga expressed optimism that, if given the chance to lead Langtang North, he would alter popular perceptions of the local government governance.

The PDP Chairmanship aspirant  made his official declaration on Saturday, July 20, 2024 in Jat Ward, Bwarat district of Langtang North.

 While addressing the ward EXCO, thanked them for their rousing welcome adding that the reason behind his aspiration is to bring progress, human and capital development in Langtang North as the local government is being lacked behind and to solicits for their support to move the local government forward with his campaign Slogan the HEART Project . Health, Education, Agriculture and Rural Transformation.

Responding, Jat WardPDP  EXCOs  thanked Hon Habila Tonga for the visit, and advocated for peaceful electioneering campaign with the promised that the Jat ward EXCOs  will support his political activities to the people as he has done more than enough and charged him to remember his promises if victory smiles on him, and not to toe the path of politicians who cast away all their campaign promises behind them after winning actions.

The Honorable was welcomed by a massive crowd who publicly declare their support to the aspirant in all ramifications.

“Hon. Habila Tonga has demonstrated unwavering commitment to our community through various initiatives and projects aimed at improving our quality of life. His vision for Langtang North is one of growth, unity and development, that resident's voice is heard and valued". Some supporters said.
