Education: Yibaikwal Foundation Partners Plateau State Government to Enhance Teacher's capacity


In a bid to improve the quality of education in Plateau State, Yibaikwal Foundation has collaborated with the state government to organize a 5-day capacity-building workshop for secondary school teachers in Kanam Local Government.

The workshop, which commenced on January 13, aims to equip teachers with the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver effective education.

Hon. Muhammad Salihu Nyalun, Commissioner of Education (Secondary), reiterated the state government's commitment to enhancing quality education, highlighting the establishment of a department focused on public-private partnerships.
Amb. Prof. Shehu Abdullahi Yibaikwal OON, PhD, FCIN, emphasized the importance of prioritizing education, stressing that qualified teachers are crucial for building a better future.

The workshop featured a keynote address by Pirdam Binwai, who urged teachers to be passionate about their duties. The event also included a session on modern teaching techniques and 21st-century guidelines.

This initiative underscores Yibaikwal Foundation's dedication to supporting education in Nigeria, and demonstrates the positive impact of collaboration between government agencies and private organizations.
