PLSG Constitutes Governing Council for State Tertiary Institutions



The much awaited administrative and policy-making bodies called governing councils for Plateau State tertiary institutions have finally come to fruition as brought to fore by Secretary to the Government of State, Arch. Samuel Jatau through a press statement signed and dated 30th January, 2025, and made available to newsmen in Jos, the state capital. 

In the notification statement titled "Constitution of Governing Councils For Tertiary Institutions,"  
Governor Caleb Mutfwang approved the following people for the various institutions as:

PLATEAU STATE UNIVERSITY BOKKOS
 i. Prof. William Barnabas Qurix - Chairman/Pro-Chancellor
ii. Nde David Shikfu Paradang - Member
iii. Prof. Gloria Kakuri - Member
iv. Barr. Omar Shittien - Member
v. Mr. Luka D. Gaji - Member
vi. Prof. Lohfa Bali Chirdan - Member
vii. Dr. Nathaniel Mawash Kamoh - Member

PLATEAU STATE POLYTECHNIC, BARKIN  LADI
Prof. Hayward Mafwai - Chairman
Hon. Jonathan Aminu - Member
Mrs. Kachollom Biangten - Member
Engr. Gyang Woshi -  Member
Rt. Hon. Shehu Yipmong - Member
