Prof Dakum Congratulates Prof Nentawe Yilwatda Over Election as Chairman Rabat Process




The Chief Executive Officer, Institute of Human Virology Nigeria, IHVN, and Plateau State Labour Party, LP, governorship candidate in the 2023 general elections, Professor Patrick Sunday Dakum, has congratulated the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction, Professor Nentawe Yilwada, over his election as Chairman, RABAT PROCESS, an Euro-African dialogue Forum on Migration and Development, yesterday, 29th January, 2025 by various ministers of the 55 countries constituting the dialogue forum.

Dakum admonished Yilwada to see his new international enormous and tasking assignment as an addition to the colossal domestic's requiring ingenuity, commitment, patriotism, determination and sagacity to succeed; saying running European Commission, EC, North, West and Central African member countries to tackle migration challenges through the framework of consultation and coordination and also encouraging opportunities for exchange and development, is not palatable, but too cumbersome demanding much time and energy.

Dakum called on Yilwada to be an excellent ambassador of Nigeria and to do all that it takes to achieve to a large extent within his tenure the 2023 - 2027 Cadiz Programme of the RABAT Process which includes: Development benefits of migration/Root causes of irregular migration and forced displacement; Regular Migration and Mobility, Protection and Assylum; Irregular migration, migrant smuggling and trafficking in human beings and Return, readmission and reintegration.

While wishing and praying for his gubernatorial counterpart in the 2023 general elections a successful tenure as Chairman of the RABAT Process, Dakum calls on all Nigerians to support Nentawe both morally and spiritually through fervent prayers to multipotentialite in all his national and international assignments.
