2023: Deputy Gov. Tyoden Declares Intrest to Contest for Governor

The Deputy Governor of Plateau State, Prof. Sonni Tyoden, has declared his intention to vie for the governorship seat of the State in 2023 under the platform of the All Progressives Congress APC. Frontline governorship aspirant under the All Progressives Congress (APC ) in Plateau Dr. Patrick Dakum , on Thursday pledged to tackle insecurity if elected Governor of the state. Member representing Langtang North and Langtang South Federal Constituency, Honourable Beni Lar has disbursed cash grants and motorcycles to over 400 of her constituents to empower them to be self reliant. This is the 1st phase of Honourable Beni Lar's flagging off of empowerment scheme for the year 2022 with over 400 beneficiaries selected across the 33 Federal Wards in Langtang North and South Local Government Areas of the state. The Muslim Rights Concern (MURIC) has warned that any political party that picks any member of the Redeemed Church of Christ Group (RCCG) will kiss the Aso Rock goodbye. Leaders of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Plateau State under the aegis of APC Bigwigs have called on some governorship aspirants for the upcoming 2023 election to desist from telling the electorates that they are the anointed candidate of the governor, Simon Lalong.
