Frontline governorship aspirant under the All Progressives Congress (APC ) in Plateau Dr. Patrick Dakum , on Thursday pledged to tackle insecurity if elected Governor of the state. The Muslim Rights Concern (MURIC) has warned that any political party that picks any member of the Redeemed Church of Christ Group (RCCG) will kiss the Aso Rock goodbye. The group gave the warning in a statement signed by Idrees Safiyanu Gambo, Chairman, Bauchi State Chapter, Muslim Rights Concern (MURIC) Recall that the RCCG had a few weeks ago created a directorate for politics and governance across the country. Plateau should attend the expo due to the following reasons: 1) Dire need of investment in the state; In today's world, the infrastructures that boost the economy and revenue derive of communities are in the hands of the private sector. The deficit of infrastructures in Plateau, poor internally generated revenue hampering rapid development and advancement and high rate of unemployment, are attributable to poor foreign and local investments in the state. Hunters under the auspices of Nigerian Hunters Council, Plateau State Command has paraded a syndicate of drugs peddlers who specialised in selling hard drugs such as Cocaine aka “Crack” in an open market to flashpoints areas in Plateau state. The hunters council said it has upgraded from the popular hunting of bush rodents to fighting of crimes and criminality in the state and its environ.
