The National Association of Nigerian Traditional Medicine Practitioners (NANTMP)has dissolved the National Executive Council (EXCO) with effect from 21st December 2022 and inaugurated the Electoral Committee (ELCOM) to conduct the election on January 28th, 2023 at a venue to be communicated by the ELCOM. The Federal High Court sitting in Jos has dismissed the suit filled by one Augustine Timkuk Dandam challenging the nomination and declaration of Hon. Nannim Joseph Langyi as candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for Langtang North/North State Constituency in the forth coming 2023 General Elections. In his reliefs sought, the claimant among other things is asking for the disqualification of all the PDP candidates from Gubernatorial, Senatorial, House of Representatives, down to State Assemblies. The Claimant’s suit was dismissed at the preliminary stage without the Originating Summons heard.
