Presenting starter packs and cash donations to the 33 beneficiaries at the Gagdi Support Foundation, Yingi, Rayfield in Jos, Hajiya Laila in her opening remarks said she is committed to the financial freedom of women in the Federal Constituency where her husband represents. PLSG Bans Road Blockades by Churches, Mosques

Plateau state Governor, Caleb Mutfwang has issued a ban on road blockades by all religious centers in the state. He said this directive aims to alleviate traffic congestion and ensure public safety. In addition to the ban, the governor has mandated that all religious centers, including churches and mosques, provide building approvals issued by the Jos Metropolitan Development Board (JMDB). Non-compliance will result in penalties. The directive was communicated through letters dated June 13, 2024, signed by Hart Bankat, General Manager of JMDB. The letters, which are part of the implementation of Executive Order 003 signed by Governor Mutfwang, were addressed to the state chairmen of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) and Jama’atu Nasril Islam (JNI). Dr. Salim Musa Umar, state secretary of JNI, confirmed the receipt of the letter. LG Election: Cishak Assures of Transparent and Credible LG Polls

Plateau State Independent Electoral Commission (PLASIEC), says it has commenced preparations for the conduct of local government elections. Chairman of the commission Planji Cishak, made this know on Thursday in Jos, when he addressed Journalist on the activities of the commission. Cishak, who assumed office one week ago, along with his commissioners, said that the commission had already commenced immediate actions and readiness checks. He stated that PLASIEC identifying administrative and operational gaps and weaknesses, as well developing and implementing policies that would pave the way for free, fair, and credible elections at the grassroots. Late Da Ezekiel Ashut Laid to Rest Amidst Tears

By Jerry Jatdul It was a mixture of tears and tributes on Saturday, 1st June, 2024 when the remains of late Da, Ezekiel Ashut alias Dusu-Dicxy was committed to mother earth at his family compound, Zafok-IBAAS Foron Chiefdom of Barki-Ladi Local Government Area of Plateau State amidst tears. Before his final interment, a funeral service was held in his honour at the Church of Christ In Nations, (COCIN) CC Zafok of Barki-Ladi LGA of Plateau State. Late, Ezekiel Ashut was born on 15th July, 1968 and died on Thursday 23rd May, 2024 at the age of 56. Speaking at the funeral service, the Chief Executive Officer, Institute of Human Virology Nigeria (IHVN), Dr. Patrick Sunday Dakum condoled with the Ashut family and called on the children and the immediate family to emulate the virtues of the deceased. Testimonies from the family, uncles, friends, brothers and Traditional rulers revealed that the Late Ezekiel Ashut, was a selfless human, deeply rooted in Christ and pacemaker who always leaves a
